```
sqlite-utils insert /tmp/log.db log multiline.log --text --convert ""
import re
r = re.compile(r'^(?P\d{4}-\d{2}-\d{2}T\d{2}:\d{2}:\d{2})(?:\:\s)(?P(.*\s\s.*|.*)+)', re.MULTILINE)
def convert(text):
return [m.groupdict() for m in r.finditer(text)]
""
```

CREATE TABLE [log] (

```
sqlite-utils merge animals.db cats.db dogs.db
```
similar to `zip`, `ogr2ogr`, etc
Actually I think this might already be possible within `ogr2ogr`. I don't believe spatial data is a requirement though it might add an `ogc_id` column or something
```
cp cats.db animals.db
ogr2ogr -append animals.db dogs.db
ogr2ogr -append animals.db another.db
