834602299 | MDU6SXNzdWU4MzQ2MDIyOTk= | 1262 | Plugin hook that could support 'order by random()' for table view | 19328961 | open | 0 | 3 | 2021-03-18T10:02:01Z | 2021-03-18T17:55:01Z | NONE | I am frequently using Datasette to quickly get a visual impression for a table without reviewing it in its entirety. Because I have some groups of similar records, the default sorting options mean that each page is very similar and not representative of the full dataset. The current interface allows sorting by columns, but random sorting is only available via custom SQL. Maybe this could be a button or link. |
